Enrolment Process
At Eastward House School we fully appreciate that a flexible approach is required both in our teaching but also in our admissions process. We understand that sometimes events make it necessary to join mid-term. Generally, we would expect interested parents to have an informal chat on the phone with either the Head or School Director. During this conversation, we would hope to establish
whether Eastward House School might be the right environment for your child and whether a meeting should be organised where families can view the school and meet the staff. We may require reports from previous schools at this point and would then hope to set up some taster days when school and pupil alike can assess whether the setting is appropriate.
Our Admissions Policy can be found here.
A taster period may be a few days or several weeks. We would discuss this with you during the initial meeting stage.
Fees
At Eastward House School there are two fee structures:-
Full school place – a child will join us for five days per week for three, twelve week terms. This will give access to a full curriculum, including Outdoor School sessions and Cookery School.
Please note, for more specialist programmes there may be additional fees.
Flexible school place – pupils can study with us for 3 or 4 days per week depending on their preference. Days can be selected depending on which elements of the curriculum are required. Once selected, days must remain consistent for the whole term.
Full school and flexible school costs are based on a 12 week term and payable in advance.
Additional costs will be GCSE/A'level platform provider access and external examinations/award fees, lunches, transport, trips and social events where applicable.
